  • Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

    Not sure :-).

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

When passengers get in it or the first time they always say..Oh it's deceiving, it's more spacious inside than it looks, they like the comfortable ride as well.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes as we love it's looks, its deceiving spaciousness for passengers and it's reliability.

What are you likely to buy next?

A newer model of Peugeot. (I did test drive a Mini One and I liked it but it wasn't as comfortable, so I still prefer my Peugeot :-).

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchised

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £7,200

When did you buy the car?

    July 2008

Did you get a good deal and why?

We felt we got a good deal. The car was only 15 months old and in 'as new' condition. The new price the previous year was about £12,000.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

We test drove this Peugeot and an Astra and preferred the comfort and style of the Peugeot better.

    What was the dealer like?

It had a lot of cars to choose from ..all in good or exc cond. We didn't feel pressurised and they were more than happy to let us test drive a couple of cars. Unfortunately this dealership is longer in business. I did try a different dealer first, an independent dealer local to us in Rainham Kent who, when I asked to test drive a car, said he would only let me if I wanted to buy it! As I wasn't sure which make, between a Astra, VW (or in the end Peugeot!) I was interested in I couldn't give him that assurance, so needless to say I didn't bother with that dealership again and went elsewhere!

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Its easy to drive and a comfortable ride. It's only a 1.4 engine so isn't 'pokey' when pulling away but that's only a slight niggle and you get used to it. Does around 38mph around town and 44mph on longer journeys.

    What's it like to park?

    It's quite good for parking.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

We've had the car for nearly 7 years and the only thing that has gone wrong is the Cruise Control doesn't work any more and recently the electric windows are temperamental.

What's most practical about your car?

The comfortable seats and ride - and the spaciousness inside.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The Speed Limiter....saves me accidentally going over 30mph around town!
