  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

OK. It has lots of power and the chassis holds out well considering its front engined and FWD. I have driven more entertaining cars with less power. Its not the easiest car to drive either, due to a very heavy clutch (common across the RS range), a heavy throttle, and a very sensitive brake peddle! The steering is well weighted and provides plenty of feedback which makes cornering less unnerving but the steering wheel is huge and the seating posisition is high making the driving position not to everyones taste, but you get used to it.

    What's it like to park?

Small car + good views = very easy.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing has failed and its currently at 60K. The interior parts often rattle but this is a minor issue.

What's most practical about your car?

Its a small car so practicality doesn't come into it. However, the boot is good considering, and is able to hold a couple of medium suitcases or a weeks worth of shopping etc. Access to the rear seats is easy too.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

    Thottle!
