• Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

Extra seats means I can divide squabbling girls! Otherwise, obviously family man's car.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Mixed reception; not quite as easy to access for people with limited mobility as with our previous Note, and seats have sports like "lip" which means sliding onto them in front especially not straight forward.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Not sure if the option will be avialable in 3 years, would have preferred 1.5 dci 110 hp auto. Not too happy with fuel economy, "only" around 43-43 mpg, this could well influence our decision mext time.

What are you likely to buy next?

Only the gods and laws of probability know that one!

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Very nice to drive, good pick (surprisingly) thoug 2nd gear sluggish, suspensionmakes for soft journey. large windscreen has presented issues with sun blindness during low winter sun when it enters the top centre area.

    What's it like to park?

Has parking sensors, and actually not that bad, steering is responsive and good turning lock.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing yet, though so-called "vast", "cavernous", "huge" etc glovebox is absolutely miniscule - masses of plastic and just enough room for 3 soft drink cans - totally useless and nothing like brochure description. Renault UK UNABLE as yet to explain why?

What's most practical about your car?

Generally bags of room, huge boot, sat nav, bluetooth, auto sensor locking. cup holders obscured by sliding centre console. Rear tables DO NOT hold cans or bottles, and therefore NO WHERE for centre row passengers to put accessible cans or bottles for long journeys.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Difficult to say, sat nav is a doddle, as is bluetooth, though not all phone numbers are displayed on screen once phone connected?
