Love it, girlfriend constantly pestering me to let her drive it....unsuccessfully.

I'd recommend it in a heartbeat, next car will be a seat.

Between the Ibiza Bocanegra or Leon Cupra R.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Not bad, got over the odds for my old car and a little more off asking price.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed the practicality of the 5 doors and it was at a price i couldn't refuse.
What was the dealer like?
Bought from a mini dealer and his knowledge of the car was minimal, he didn't seem to know anything. Servicing dept in Menai Bridge were hopeless, everything was a chore for them, parts dept much much better.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Ride is a little firm. Handles really well down the country roads with minimal body roll. Hill climbing is impressive.
What's it like to park?
Suprisingly easy. Not great if you need to have your seat all the way back as pillars get in the way.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
A few things. Sleeve on the exhaust came loose creating a harsh noise when driving through town. Major one was the bearings in the gearbox needed replacing which was expensive but a common fault on VW aparently.
What's most practical about your car?
5 doors really handy, hefty boot.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
FR branded seats, ipod connector, cruise control, The Turbo.
