In their own words

I’m into the second month of ownership of my Insignia. So far I’m very pleased. It’s not perfect, but the pluses definitely outweigh the minuses. On the plus side, it’s very comfortable and makes a really good motorway cruiser. The 1.6 diesel is very quick in comparison with my previous petrol Mazda. The economy is excellent, I’m averaging 61 mpg so far over a mix of journeys. I also think that it looks great, one of the best looking cars on the road (in my opinion!). Not so good are some of the design features. I’m thinking of the water spilling into the boot when you open the tailgate in the wet, the ridiculously small glovebox and the reflections on the windscreen from the instrument panel at night. A shame about these, but then again Insignias are quite cheap to buy. For the same money I’d have struggled to buy a 3 year older Focus and a Mondeo was out of the question. Bearing all this in mind, I’m very happy so far. Time will tell how reliable it is though.
