Volkswagen Bora (1999 - 2005) 2.3 V5 4d Owner Review

I have owned and driven many different makes of cars during my 57 years of motoring and this has been the best of the bunch I had read a number of reviews on the V5 engine before managing to find one in superb condition, it has always run like a dream and I immediately fell in love with the burbling exhaust note at idle which changes to throaty roar when pushed hard the acceleration seemed to be quite rapid although I understand the 170 bhp version may have a slight edge but I'm still in love with it after 21 years of ownership, its like an old and trusted friend that you can always depend on.
