Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

I got this car on a lease deal that was too good to miss (first 3 payments free) and now about 18 months into a 2 year contract. OK so it's the really dull Urano Grey but I can leave it anywhere and no one is going to look at it!

Good:
1. Engine surprisingly good torque and you do not have to change down often.
2. Adaptive cruise control a bonus
3. Comfortable ride over most surfaces
4. Flat load area (no big lip on boot opening) is great for bulky items.
5. Auto lights, handbrake
6. Rear leg room fairly good
7. Economy - can get over 60mpg on a run. Brilliant for a petrol.
8. Infotainment screen in front of driver easy to use.

Not so good:
1. Niggly fault VW didn't fix (yet). One of the rear interior lights keeps switching itself for no reason.
2. Why do the volume / temp sliders not light up at night? Crazy. I actually thought it was a fault and rang VW! Though there are volume controls on the steering wheel.
3. Front assist potentially dangerous. Once slammed its breaks on for no reason.
4. Temperature controls annoying. Take several seconds to come on when you first start the car (typically first thing in the morning) and screen clearance takes an age when fully misted up.
5. Sat Nav fiddly
6. Some dash materials feel cheap.

Overall fairly happy with this car and would like to try a better model, like a GTi. If I owned not leased I would worry about electrical faults developing as it gets older with everything being touch screen. Bring back some buttons VW, especially the heater controls!
Some people review there car after a week but you need longer to really get to know it.
I won't be leasing another car as the prices, like everything else in this world atm, have shot up.
