Would you buy this car again and why?
NEVER. These 2.0l tdi 140 engines between certain years are plagued with problems that VW simply wash their hands on in the UK, but not in the US for some reason.

BMW again.

OK deal.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Space, envisaged reliability and ride quality.
What was the dealer like?
Very accommodating and lent us a loan car whilst the Passat was being prepared for sale as it had just come in. Our car failed its MOT so we would of been without a car.

Love the drive.
What's it like to park?
Not easy due to size.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Doors failing to open externally, Vacuum pump failure, many airbag faults, electronic steering lock failure (part £75), but replacement not compatible with CCM (added another approx. £650). Spent approx. £3100 in last 12 months.
What's most practical about your car?
Sheer capacity.
