BMW 3 Series GT safety levels are first class. Six airbags come as standard, including twin front and side airbags and full-length head airbags in the front pillar.
Dynamic Stability Control, which includes traction control, is also standard. When crash-tested by Euro NCAP we expect the BMW 3 Series GT to achieve five stars.
BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo practicality levels are fantastic. The luggage capacity with the seats in place is 520 litres. That means it’s 25 litres larger than the boot of a 3 Series Touring.
The GT also has a large load aperture and high-opening tailgate making loading and unloading awkward items like prams or sports gear easier.
You can keep luggage or shopping from rolling around the boot by using the lashing points or the multifunction hooks, however, luggage nets are a cost option, which is a shame as they are incredibly useful.
The under-floor storage compartment is especially useful if you need to stow muddy boots and it will also keep the main boot floor clean. There are plenty of cubbies, while the door pockets are of a good size and depth.
