Parkers overall rating: 4 out of 5 4.0

You sit low in the Z4 and there is plenty of adjustment on the standard seats, while there’s the option of electric adjustment and sports seats that provide more support. The reach to the gear stick and steering wheel feel very comfortable whether you are tall or short, and all the dials are clear and controls easy to use. Overall it is a classy, stylish and luxurious place to be.

Even the standard, manually-adjusted seats are very comfortable with the sports seats hugging you. The option of electrical adjustment means it is even easier to find a comfortable driving position and the passenger has plenty of legroom too. With the roof down there is a fair amount of wind buffeting, even with the optional wind deflector fitted, though holding conversations on the motorway is possible.
