Jeep has announced a £3,750 discount it’s calling an ‘EV grant’ on the Avenger Electric, cutting the entry price to £26,249. The offer matches the value of the old Government Electric Car Grant and is available across Longitude, Altitude and Summit trim levels until 30 September.
Alongside the discount, Jeep is also offering a £1,500 deposit contribution on the Avenger Summit, which can be financed on a 0% APR PCP deal. With a 20% deposit, buyers can get behind the wheel from £270 a month, making it one of the most affordable electric SUVs in its class.
The Avenger Electric promises up to 248 miles of driving range, fast charging capability from 20-to-80% in less than 30 minutes, and a 156hp motor producing 260Nm of torque. Jeep says all versions carry the brand’s trademark rugged spirit, while higher trims add features such as Level 2 autonomous driving, blind spot monitoring, and 360-degree parking sensors.
What this means for you
If you’ve been on the fence about switching to an electric car, this offer makes the Jeep Avenger one of the cheaper routes into a brand-new SUV. The £3,750 saving narrows the gap to petrol models and puts the entry-level Longitude at a price point that makes it genuinely competitive.
With monthly payments from £270 on a 0% PCP, it is clear Jeep wants to get more electric cars onto UK driveways. That kind of figure could tempt buyers out of similarly priced petrol crossovers, particularly as running costs for EVs remain lower in day-to-day use.
It’s also a time-limited deal, which means if the Avenger Electric is on your shortlist, acting before the end of September could save you a significant amount of money.

Editor’s view: If you want an Avenger, now’s the time to buy
This is welcome news. Car buyers have been clear that affordability is the biggest barrier, and Jeep has responded with a discount that effectively reinstates the Government’s scheme. The Avenger Electric is quirky and interesting, and okay as a daily driver for many families, thanks to its usable range and fast charging capability.
For me, this is Jeep showing it understands the UK market. I’ll always back a manufacturer that drives down prices, because that’s what makes electric cars accessible to more people. This deal does just that, and I hope it sparks more competition across the industry.
