SEAT will add an estate bodystyle to its Ibiza supermini line-up this summer.
The Ibiza ST is 18 centimetres longer than the hatchback and boosts luggage space from 292 to 430 litres. The latter figure can be increased further by folding down the rear seat backs to create more space.
Buyers will be offered a choice of three petrol and two diesel engines, ranging in power from 85 to 105bhp. The line-up will include the new 1.2-litre diesel and petrol engines as found in the new Volkswagen Polo.
SEAT will also offer the DSG semi-automatic gearbox as an option on the ST.
Prices and specification will be finalised closer to the car's on-sale date in the summer.
