Details have emerged about a new commercial vehicle plan from Citroen called Business Class.

Aimed at commercial buyers, the strategy involves new products and services as well as extra staff training.

A total of 90 ‘Business Centres' will be created spanning the country, offering specially trained LCV sales and technical staff, a wider range of LCV demonstrators and stock, while-you-wait servicing, longer opening hours and a wide range of courtesy vehicles. At present there are 25 centres open, with another 10 expected to start trading by the end of February.

The Business Class programme also promises more equipment for Citroen LCV models, with the addition of Enterprise spec for the Nemo, Berlingo, Dispatch and Relay lines. This means each includes as standard air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity and rear parking sensors, as well as remote central locking, electric front windows and electrically adjustable heated door mirrors.

Lastly, Citroen is now offering a combined sat nav and telematics package. For £399 + VAT you get Trafficmaster Smartnav and a Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking package. For an extra £19.99 + VAT per month you can specify Fleet Director, a system which turns the Trackstar telematic system into a comprehensive fleet management tool in order to improve driving standards, safety records and productivity in your fleet.
