Fiat Grande Panda verdict

What we like
The Fiat Grande Panda Electric charms from the outset with its clever design and impressive practicality. It looks great inside and out, with fun detailing like the Bambox dashboard and Lingotto-inspired flourishes. Ride comfort around town is superb, and the integrated charging cable is a genuinely smart touch. At under £21k, it’s fantastic value and sets a strong benchmark for future Panda models.
What we don’t like
Range is modest and real-world efficiency could be better – we struggled to get close to Fiat’s 199-mile claim. Performance is only just adequate, and there’s a lack of refinement at higher speeds with some jiggliness on rougher roads. Rear seat comfort for adults on longer journeys is questionable, and we’ll need to wait for a Euro NCAP crash test result to understand how safe it really is.
