Fiat Ulysse Estate engines, drive and performance
2003 - 2005
(change model)
Ulysse gets three engines. The 2.0 petrol – with manual or auto gearboxes – is willing, but lacks the punch to haul heavier loads. 2.2 HDi pulls the best, but the 2.0 HDi does a similar job for a lower price.
A smooth ride makes for relaxed long distance motorway trips, but the around-town ride can be a bit rougher. The power steering is firm and delivers plenty of feedback. It’s easy to park and it handles confidently across back roads.
