The economic diesel engine suits this car best as it’s not the sort of vehicle for high speed antics. If you want more speed, there is a mediocre 2.4 or Hyundai’s nice 2.7 V6.

The ride is soft and reasonably comfortable but as soon as you need to go in a direction other than straight ahead it becomes wallowy and the steering is very vague.
