Fuel economy

A more stringent standard for fuel economy (WLTP) was introduced from September 2017, and this model was not required to undergo that test. Its fuel economy measured under the previous test system was 23 - 24 mpg. However these figures are less likely to be achievable in real world driving and so should never be compared to another car's mpg which was measured under the newer, more realistic WLTP system.

The 3.7-litre V6 is a thirsty brute – it will average 24.8mpg – and Infiniti dealers can be expensive. The upside is that you will get excellent levels of service.

The Convertible emits a staggering 264g/km of CO2, which means pricey road and company car tax.

Infiniti has a strong reputation for superb build quality and reliability like its parent company Nissan. Reported faults are largely non-existent and if you do have a problem the dealers are very well trained. Infiniti also offers a roadside assistance but unlike most manufacturers it focuses on the owner rather than the car so you’ll never be left stranded even if you’re in someone else’s car.
