Mercedes-Benz E-Class Saloon boot space, practicality and safety
1995 - 2002
(change model)
Strong structure resulted in top marks when orginally crash tested. All models get twin airbags, and side bags were fitted from ’96 onwards. Has an alarm and immobiliser, but deadlocks weren’t fitted for safety reasons.
The boot is huge and should swallow all you might reasonably expect to fit in it although the rear seats do not fold down. There are plenty of storage areas up front, too.
