Running costs

The four cylinder petrol units offer respectable economy, whilst the diesels are positively frugal. But the V6 units start to look a bit on the thirsty side unless extreme restraint is exercised - the V8 even more so. Insurance groups range from 10 to 19. However the biggest cost of ownership is likely to be depreciation which is comparable to a Ford Mondeo.

Reliability

4 out of 5 4.0

The 75 on which its based was originally engineered by BMW which is good news for the reliability, although to their credit, build quality actually get even better when production moved to Longbridge so reliability should be good.
