MG ZT Saloon engines, drive and performance
2001 - 2004
(change model)
An eclectic choice starting with a 1.8 turbo – which feels eager – ranging through a couple of V6s up to the stonking great Ford V8 fitted to the range topping models. BMW sourced diesels are also available.
Suspension is quite firm and the MG engineers know how to make a car handle well. Front-wheel-drive versions will wheelspin on bumpier corners but that’s part of the fun.
