Nissan Micra Electric verdict
2025 onwards
(change model)

While perhaps not as desirable as the closely related Renault 5, the Nissan Micra has a couple of advantages over its sibling that make it well worth considering.
What we like
The Micra is fun to drive and acceptably comfortable, striking a good balance that many rivals fail to do. It’s slightly more efficient than the equivalent Renault 5 and also has more adjustable regenerative braking on most models. A big boot and a plush, user-friendly interior rounds off a tempting package.
What we don’t like
Rear space is tight and the boot has a high loading lip that makes it trickier to load heavy items. It’s also arguably less desirable than the 5 on which it’s based and rivals have longer warranties.
