Peugeot 407 Coupe (2006 - 2010) boot space, practicality and safety
The 407 has delivered impressive performance results in crash safety tests, and the Coupe version should perform similarly well. It comes equipped with a generous tally of safety equipment including seven airbags across the range, electronic stability control, tyre pressure sensors and xenon headlights. Security is taken care of with an alarm and immobiliser, deadlocks with armour-plated reinforcement and the rear boot release can be deactivated if needed.
It’s obviously the least practical model in the 407 line-up, but as far as coupes go it’s as good as it gets at this price bracket. The rear seats retain their ability to split and fold, so larger objects can be carried when required plus there’s also a ski-hatch. The glovebox is refrigerated and there are numerous storage areas, front and rear including four cup-holders.
