The Megane Coupe has an upmarket feel to its interior with plenty of soft-touch materials and fabric covering the inside of the windscreen pillars. The instruments are dominated by a large LCD speedometer readout, with a more conventional analogue rev-counter to the left of it. The speedometer is easy to read, and although the black-on-white display can appear bright at night, it is easily remedied by the brightness adjustment.

Visibility is compromised to the rear by the steeply sloping roof line, but it is reasonable enough for a car marketed as a coupe. Finding a good driving position is easy with excellent seat and steering adjustment.

This version of the Megane is not as spacious as the five-door hatchback, but offers good levels of comfort for a coupe. Rear headroom can be tight for adults but sitting up front is quite comfortable. All models come with air conditioning, and noise insulation is exceptional. The diesels appear particularly quiet from inside the car.
