France’s answer to the dutiful but lacklustre Ford Escort is the stylish and versatile Renault Megane, a versatile range of hatchbacks, coupés, cabriolets and saloons, not to mention the highly acclaimed Megane Scenic compact MPV. The hatchback line-up is hugely complex with more than 60 different trim and model combinations, which can make it difficult to differentiate models.
