A well laid out dashboard that demonstrates the same logic to laying out the controls as other VW and Audi products but with less concern for looking stylish – end result is pleasingly simplistic yet ideally placed. Can appear a little sombre.

Fabia is generally very comfortable, although the seats could offer more support and larger adults will find rear head- and legroom is restricted. Offers comfort levels approaching that of cars the next size up with space enough in the back for adults and a level of ride refinement other superminis rarely match.
