Comfy and easy to get along with. Some of the controls are a little unusual, but you soon get the hang of them and they’re all in easy-to-reach places. Comfortable driving position and excellent all-round visibility. Remember to put your foot on the brake to engage reverse. Key can only be removed when the car is in neutral.

It makes the most of the available space. Although it’s only a two-seater, both occupants get plenty of room and – as it’s a tall design, there’s plenty of headroom. Models with a glass roof benefit from a light and airy interior, however some don’t have air-con, which turns the City Coupe into a glasshouse on wheels in the summer. And it’s noisy.
