Suzuki e Vitara verdict

What we like
We found the Suzuki e Vitara an unexpectedly enjoyable electric car to drive – the steering feels satisfyingly weighty and precise, giving you confidence behind the wheel. It’s also refreshing to see a four-wheel drive option in this class, broadening its appeal for buyers in rural areas or colder climates. Equipment levels are generous too, with sliding rear seats and a useful heat pump included as standard, making the e Vitara feel well thought out for everyday use.
What we don’t like
The sluggish infotainment system is a letdown. It feels a step behind rivals in both responsiveness and ease of use. The boot is also on the small side, especially compared with the best in class, and it feels a little cramped for passengers. Rivals such as the Kia EV3 and Ford Puma Gen-E offer more polish and practicality.
