Toyota Avensis Saloon boot space, practicality and safety

One of the safest cars on the road (it was the safest for a short while) with a five-star Euro NCAP rating; ABS, loads of airbags (including ‘kneebags’); ticks all safety boxes. Alarm/immobiliser, double locking, etched glass and marked parts for security.
Large opening to the boot and it’s quite low to the ground. The rear seats do not fold totally flat, which can affect the amount of luggage you can get in the back. Slightly more bootspace with the rear seats in place than the hatchback version. Plenty of storage spaces in the cabin.
