Overview

The Passat Mk 4 was the embodiment of Volkswagen values when launched in 1997: better built than rivals, ultra-reliable and engaging to drive. That wasn’t all – it was generously equipped, had fine engines and subtle styling that stood head and shoulders above Mondeo, Vectra and the stodgy old Passat Mk 3.
