What we like

The Volvo EX30 Cross Country is an agreeable car, not least because it is a cool-looking, slightly tougher version of the standard EX30, which is a very likeable small family car with a dash of SUV flavour. It offers added comfort over the standard car, more presence, and some extra confidence for winter driving or light off-road use.

What we don’t like

However, its limited range, high cash price, and lack of trim options might hold it back from being a mainstream hit.
