  • Summary

    1 out of 5 1.0

What does this car say about you?

I expected a lot more from Jaguar. The car looks fantastic but is way too expensive to run. Parts are ridiculously over priced. I will not get another. (Had planned to get a XKR on retirement.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

    Looks nice.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Definitely not due to cost of parts and poor warranty service.

What are you likely to buy next?

Ford Mondeo. I had one before and pound for pound it beats this into a cocked hat. I wish I had never bothered.

    Didn't buy from a dealer

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £22,000

When did you buy the car?

    October 2010

Did you get a good deal and why?

Not really as Jaguar only seem to be interested in owners who buy a dealer approved vehicle. They don't seem to have any interest in customers who bought elsewhere.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I had always dreamed of owning a jaguar but not previously had the money to buy a good quality Jaguar.

    What was the dealer like?

    N/A

  • Driving it

    1 out of 5 1.0

    What's it like to drive?

Not bad in dry but lethal in snow, I have been stuck too many times on flat roads, very poor indeed.

    What's it like to park?

    Big!

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Too many things to mention;- Needed rear disks early £500, fuel flap won't open, satnav and entire computer console intermittently switches off and re-boots, handbrake light comes on, Last service I was informed bushes in suspension have perished and was quoted £1500, Jaguar refused to help more than 10%.

What's most practical about your car?

Not much really, it's useless in the snow. Wish I had kept my mondeo! Really!

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

    Interior lighting is nifty.
