Economy
Value
Good if you can get one with a good service.
Costs
Rover parts expensive due to their labour charges - rip off.

Living with it
Reliability
- ok had the car 3years - since having it even though I have loved it with care + attention - the headgasket has gone twice ! - the roof leaks -where the seals have gone + the boot leaks - the aircon broke - the exhaust system went after 12months -
Image
still holds it own - loves to race at lights -
Comfort
Good for driver + passenger - rear seats are cramped - no good for long journeys.
-
Security and Service
Security
OK - but alarm went faulty twice - watch out for faulty sensors.
Service
expensive + rubbish

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Head gasket gone twice - aircon broke - water overheating due to faulty pipes - window wash container leaking - exhaust went - brakes needed checking regularly.
Other
Roof T bar leaks when raining, so does the boot. Overheated numerous times - nightmare car - Just damn fun to drive though! Sad to see it go - but I'm getting rid - cost too much to keep maintained as Rover are also very expense labour.
