Who cares when a car can make so smile so muc when you drive it.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Most neighbours were very jealous when I got it and school kids used to run up to see it over far more exotic machinery. Friedns f mine also bought Imprezas as a result.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I wish I did rather than the comparatively useless Audi A4 estate I bought. Had mine for 15 years and it never missed a beat. Foolishly sold it now values are rising...doh !
What are you likely to buy next?
Bought an Audi A4 avant as the Impreza was a bit small to get my finsihg gear in and a bit juicy for long trips.

OK there was a long waiting list for these cars of a year so wasnlt able to get much off.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Drove when whilst at the garge buying a pint of milk. Already has a Legacy Trubo so bit of an impulse buy.
What was the dealer like?
Very helpful overall.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Amazing. Very raw driving experience with huge feedback from chasis.Traction is immense and really does go form zero to warp speed. However it stops equally well and goes round corners beautifully. Later cars were heavier with duller steering.
What's it like to park?
Fine.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Its a Subaru. Nothing EVER wen't wrong outside of routine servicing and the only ever breakdown was when a piece of metal got thrown up form a lorry and punctured the radiator.
What's most practical about your car?
4 wheel drive system. The best there is. Driving in the snow watching fools in BMWs sliding off the road into ditches whilst you can drive around fairly normally.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Easy, the flat 4 engine matched to a Scoobysport exhasut releases some extra oomph and makes the car sound amazing.
