Absolotely unburstable Subaru build quality. This car honestly felt like it was build to victorian over engineering standards. The whole car felt so solid and unlie most cars there were no major design flaws.
This thing was FAST too. Considering it was quite a bit bigger than an Impreza it was not much slower. Ride was refined and confortable and the handing was very good.
Being a Subaru wet and snow make little difference as lng as you have decent tires. Subarus superb 4WD system puts most others to shame and offer safe sure grip.
Overall I was so deeply impressed by this car I ended up ordering a brand new Impreza Turbo 2000 which I kept for 16 years. A Subaru would be my present car had they not lost direction and started making somewhat bland cars. It was the fact they were different that appealed.
How reliable do you find the car?
New clutch needed which is well within expectations apart from that nothing apart from routine servicing.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
