Audi A7 S7 (2012 - 2018) boot space, practicality and safety
With the solid structure and high level of safety equipment on offer, Audi S7 safety levels should be extremely high. The standard model hasn’t been tested by Euro NCAP, which means this model looks unlikely to go through the rigorous tests. With kit like active lane assist and night vision assistant that can detect pedestrians in your path, the S7 makes you feel confident and secure.
The sloping roofline and sleek looks may be more akin to a svelte Coupe, but the Audi S7 is remarkably practical. There’s ample boot space of 535 litres – with the rear seats in place – and 1,390 litres with the rear seats folded down, which is the same as the standard Audi A7 model. With the rear seats folded the boot floor is almost flat making it useful for longer items.
The boot lip is a little high, while the opening is narrow which can make getting bigger and heavier items in the back somewhat awkward. There’s plenty of room in the cabin too, with a large centre console box that can fit plenty of items as well as numerous useful touches like cup holders dotted around.
