Audi Q3 RS (2013 - 2017) boot space, practicality and safety
Since the Q3 has five stars at Euro NCAP crash testing, it’s not a stretch to say the Audi RS Q3 safety record is excellent. There’s a host of systems on board to keep occupants safe including front airbags for driver and passenger, side airbags integrated into seat backrests and a head airbag system.
You get ABS, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, automatic windscreen wipers, a first aid kit and a seatbelt reminder.
ISOFIX child seat lashing points are installed on the front passenger and outer rear seats.
Audi RS Q3 practicality is nearly identical to the Q3 it’s based on. The only major difference is in boot space, which is down from 420 litres to 356 litres since the size of the engine means the car’s battery must be placed in the boot.
Folding the rear seats down means this expands to 1,261 litres, rather than 1,325 litres in the regular Q3.
Inside you get the same amount of cubbies and storage options, while rear seat passengers may find it a little cramped back there since the rear seats are slightly raised. There is a pair of cup holders in the centre console.
