BMW Z3 M Coupe boot space, practicality and safety
1998 - 2002
(change model)
Pre 2001 models lack traction control and can catch out the unwary in slippery conditions. Driver and passenger airbags are fitted and side airbags were an option however no official crash test was carried out for this car. An alarm and immobiliser were fitted as standard.
It’s quite unlike any other car, virtually resembling a two seat estate car. The boot isn’t enormous, although there is plenty of useable space, and if needed a luggage net extends to the ceiling so you can load it to the roof without fear of your cargo joining you in the front. Given its outrageous looks and performance you’d have to say its practicality is impressive.
