The previous Voyager was crash tested by Euro NCAP in 1999 and performed poorly. This version was tested in early 2007 and fared just as bad with a two star result in an age when four and five stars are the norm. There is said to be “an unacceptably high risk of serious or fatal injury”. Side airbags and ABS are standard – as you’d expect from a car of this class.

Deadlocks and remote central locking are standard.

About as much luggage space as a Ford Focus with all seven seats in use. Third row is also a bench seat which is quite cumbersome – you won’t be able to remove it without help unless you’re exceptionally strong. Very roomy, and almost van like with all the rear passenger seats removed.
