Overview
With radical and stylish looks, the C4 Coupe is one of the most individual hatchbacks around. It’s even more distinctive than the five-door C4, thanks mainly to the angular rear end and unusual tailgate design. The interior is equally as modern, complete with a translucent central speed display. However, quality is lacking and the cabin isn’t especially well put together, while many of the materials feel cheap.
It’s let down by the handling too – while the ride quality is excellent, the steering is over-assisted and the C4 doesn’t feel composed at quicker speeds. On the plus side it does come well equipped and represents good value for money. In September 2008 the model was facelifted with a sharper front end, upgraded cabin and more efficient engines.
