Fuel economy

A more stringent standard for fuel economy (WLTP) was introduced from September 2017, and this model was not required to undergo that test. Its fuel economy measured under the previous test system was 30 - 33 mpg. However these figures are less likely to be achievable in real world driving and so should never be compared to another car's mpg which was measured under the newer, more realistic WLTP system.

Competes with other ex-fleet models despite higher parts and servicing costs. Iinsurance starts at Group 8 thanks to lower repair costs. Fuel consumption is good. Depreciation is becoming less of a worry (unless you bought new).

A class apart when it comes to build quality, this Accord simply should not break down provided it’s looked after. Interior is well screwed together – trim rattles are unheard of.
