Honda CR-V Estate (1997 - 2001) boot space, practicality and safety
Euro NCAP didn’t crash test the previous generation CR-V (they only began 4×4 testing in 2002), but for its age the body is strong and all models come with driver and passenger airbags and ABS. All models are fitted with the mandatory immobiliser, but an alarm is an optional extra.
More space inside than your average five-door estate; and the height means that you can take bulky goods, too. Good rear seat space with folding seats and a split rear tailgate.
