There’s good visibility in all directions from the driver’s seat, and the controls are all simple to use and easy to reach. The indicator stalk is on the right, unlike 99% of cars sold in the UK, but that leaves the left hand free to stir the gear lever.

The front seats offer only basic adjustment and the steering wheel does not adjust at all, leaving little scope to adjust the driving position – you either fit or you don’t. There’s not much leg room in the back either, although head room is quite generous. Features like air conditioning and electric front windows are available on some models, which make for more comfortable driving.
