What we like 

The MG S5 is a highly recommendable electric family SUV that undercuts key rivals whilst offering lots of space and a competitive driving range. It certainly doesn’t feel bargain basement inside and is good to drive, too.

What we don’t like

It’s not the most agile feeling SUV in the class and neither does it have the biggest boot. Both the Skoda Elroq and Kia EV3 feel a little more polished and their long range models go farther on a charge, albeit for more cash.
