Taller drivers are likely to struggle to find a comfortable driving position as the steering wheel only adjusts for height and not reach. There are a few sporty touches like white-faced instruments and aluminium pedals, but the overall quality of the cabin materials feels too much like a budget car and not a top-of-the-range model.

While the Colt CZT should accommodate four people without any worry over space, there is the tricky matter of getting in and out of the rear in a three-door car. The Colt CZT performs better than most because of its relatively high roof and rear legroom can be maximised at the expense of luggage capacity thanks to its sliding rear bench. Ride comfort is excellent for a small sporty hatchback.
