Mitsubishi Colt CZT boot space, practicality and safety

2005 - 2008 (change model)
Practicality rating: 2.5 out of 52.5

The Colt was awarded four-stars for adult occupant safety in Euro NCAP crash tests, which is reasonable for a small car. There is a good level of safety equipment including front, side and curtain airbags, and a vehicle stability control system. The Colt CZT should be about as safe as any other small car.

The CZT is as versatile as any three-door Colt, with the option that, if you are not carrying a full complement of passengers and need to take some extra luggage, the boot space is expandable by sliding the rear seat forward. It also reclines, splits and folds. The compromise is that with four occupants there isn’t much room for their luggage.
