Renault Megane Cabriolet boot space, practicality and safety

Solid roof and keyless entry on top models aids security. There are six airbags plus a rigid body with a reinforced windscreen surround and roll hoops. Additional pop-up roll-over protection can be specified.
With the roof up, the boot is very generous – bigger than that offered by the hatchback – but once the down, space diminishes to just coping with a weekly shopping trip for two. There’s a decent sized glovebox and an armrest storage bin too.
