What we like

We like the Elroq vRS for many of the reasons why we think the standard car is one of the best family SUVs. It’s a highly practical and useful crossover that offers a good electric driving range, generous equipment and a comfortable and refined driving experience. It’s a better choice than the larger Skoda Enyaq vRS, for sure.

What we don’t like

We just don’t think the vRS feels a big enough step up compared to other versions of the Elroq. The performance isn’t a vast improvement and it doesn’t feel much more involving to drive. The fact it doesn’t look much different (colour aside) means we find it hard to recommend as a standalone performance SUV, though if you want a generously equipped Elroq we can see the appeal.
