Toyota Land Cruiser Commercial dimensions (2025-on)
On this page you'll find full dimensions data, payload and towing capacity info for the Toyota Land Cruiser Commercial.
Toyota UK orders in Land Cruisers from the factory in Japan, but specifies them without rear seats, allowing for an easier conversion. This includes rendering the rear opaque with interior steel panel inserts and installing a full-height metal bulkheads with a mesh top top section. A full plastic load liner is then put in the back.
The Land Cruiser’s rear space is very useful, if not quite as practical as a usual van. The bulkhead is also properly installed and doesn’t rattle like in some vans, and there are still storage areas within the boot and various anchoring points. You also get a three-pin plug in the boot that’s ideal for powering up any light electrical equipment.
We are waiting for Toyota to confirm the full load measurements of the Land Cruiser Commercial, and will update this review once we are provided with them.
As the Land Cruiser Commercial is based on a standard passenger car, its load carrying ability isn’t as useful or as spacious as a regular panel van. That said, it doesn’t look like one at all – the only changes on the exterior compared to the standard car are smaller alloy wheels and the absence of roof rails.
It’s a slightly lower floor than those of the two Land Rovers, though it lacks those cars’ storage available under the load area. The rubber lining also feels durable, though it is carpeted underneath, rather than solid plastic like the Land Rovers.
An electric tailgate also comes as standard, while the Land Cruiser’s rear window can also open separately from the main boot, which is ideal for quickly getting something out of the back without having to open the full thing.
