Vauxhall Astra dimensions (2006-2012)
The cargo area is lined with plastic, flat and largely unaffected by wheel arches. Six floor-mounted anchor points and a half-height bulkhead are fitted as standard.
With only the rear door access to the cargo area is more limited than in many other vans.
The load area is 1.78m long, 1.38m wide (1.10m between the arches) and 0.91m high, giving a loadspace volume of 1.58 cubic metres.
An optional fold-flat passenger seat allows load lengths of up to 2.68m.
Maximum payload in the Astra is 650kg. The larger engines can tow up to 685kg unbraked.
