Volkswagen Bora Saloon (1999 - 2005) boot space, practicality and safety
The old Golf scored four stars in the Euro NCAP crash test – a respectable score – and Bora should fare similarly by association. Safety equipment has been kept up to date and its has no security weaknesses, with an alarm, remote central locking and deadlocks as standard.
The boot is quite large, but not as practical as the Golf’s hatchback and you pay the penalty of having a larger vehicle. Plenty of interior storage space.
